About Us

Iran–Israel Friendship Society

انجمن دوستی ایران و اسرائیل

האגודה לידידות איראן–ישראל

At the Iran–Israel Friendship Society, we aspire to a future in which the peoples of Iran and Israel are connected by enduring bonds of friendship, cultural and scientific exchange, and mutually beneficial economic cooperation. Our mission is to build, strengthen, and expand channels of communication between Iranians and Israelis, fostering mutual respect, trust, dialogue, and understanding between the two peoples.

Historically, Iran and Israel have shared rich cultural ties and periods of constructive interaction in science, commerce, and the arts. In recent years, grassroots initiatives by citizens in both countries have demonstrated a strong desire for direct contact and collaboration beyond political divisions. These efforts reflect a broader recognition that ordinary people, scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, and families benefit when they engage openly and respectfully with one another.

The Iran–Israel Friendship Society has been established to accelerate these connections. Its founding core consists of Iranian and Israeli scientists, professionals, and intellectuals, with the objective of welcoming participants from all walks of life. We aim to create practical opportunities for:

Cultural exchange

Art, music, literature, film, and heritage projects that celebrate the diversity and shared humanity of both societies.

Scientific and educational collaboration

Joint research, university partnerships, student and scholar exchanges, and professional development programs.

Economic and social cooperation

Business networking, innovation forums, and community initiatives that support sustainable development and prosperity.

We believe that sustained people-to-people engagement can help reduce misunderstanding, build trust, and lay the groundwork for long-term peace and stability in the region. By focusing on common interests and shared aspirations, we hope this initiative will inspire similar efforts among other nations in the Middle East, so that cooperation in culture, science, and economic development may flourish.
